Browsers: Better World Books

Browsers is proud to announce their partnership with Better World Books. Better World Books is a for-profit social enterprise that raises money to fund literacy programs worldwide. Browsers has decided to partner and benefit Books for Africa.

Donation boxes can be found at Browsers located upstairs in the Memorial Union Building (MUB) or lower Place Riel Student Centre, next to the tunnel entrance.

Better World Books operates under a "REUSE, REUSE, RECYCLE" philosophy.

All book donations made to the USSU sponsored Better World Books boxes will go towards helping Books for Africa.

In order to raise money for literacy programs, they first try and sell the books before shipping them to Africa.

If Better World Books are unable to sell the books, they will donate them to libraries in African schools and community centres.

If they are unable to sell the books or donate them due to content or condition, the books will be recycled, resulting in ZERO books in local landfills.

Please donate any unwanted or used books to help benefit the people of Africa.
