USSU Centres: Positive Support and Services

SPECIAL NOTE: Some of the USSU Centres have moved! You can find the USSU Pride Centre, Women's Centre, and Food Centre in their new temperary location in Lower Sask Hall. A map will be posted soon of the exact location of these Centres.

The University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union (USSU) operates a number of centres for enhancing the student experience. These centres include the Women’s Centre, Pride Centre, Help Centre, and Food Centre. The USSU centres are open to all students, and provide resources, support and services in a warm, positive atmosphere.

USSU Childcare Centre:
Originally founded by the USSU, the Childcare Centre now operates independently as an affiliate organization with a separate Board of Directors.

USSU Food Centre:
The USSU Food Centre provides emergency food hampers to students in financial need, and also offers fresh, nutritious food though the CHEP Good Food Box program.

USSU Help Centre:
Need help but not sure where to go? Looking for a comfy place for assistance related to your studies? Need to access archived exams? Need access to a free phone? Then the USSU Help Centre is the place for you!

USSU Pride Centre:
Celebrating and embracing diversity, the USSU Pride Centre is a friendly and open environment for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. It’s also a great place to meet and make new friends.

USSU Women’s Centre:
The USSU Women's Centre provides a safe and positive environment to promote equality while recognizing and celebrating differences within our diverse community. It's also a great place to meet people, gain volunteering experience and learn about local and international social issues.

USSU Volunteer Manual:
Students interested in volunteering for any of the USSU Centres are encouraged to download the USSU Volunteer Manual. The manual provides background about the USSU, and guidelines on becoming a USSU volunteer.
