Food Centre: Overview

The USSU Food Centre is closed for the summer and will be reopening August 16, 2010. For emergency food hampers please contact the USSU main office at 966-6960.

The CHEP Good Food Boxes will be unavailable until August 16th.

Students holding a valid Saskatchewan Health Card and Student ID can request an emergency food hamper at the Food Centre during office hours (see below) or at the USSU Main Office located in room 103, Memorial Union Building.

The USSU Food Centre is now placing CHEP Good Food Box orders. Orders can be placed at the Food Centre or at the USSU Main Office. Those wishing to place orders must pay up front, in cash.The USSU Food Centre was established in 2003 by the University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union, in conjunction with the Saskatoon Food Bank, in response to hunger on campus. Student hunger has become more prevalent because of increased tuition and more limited student funding.

Hours of operation:
Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tuesdays 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Thursdays 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
